Legal Compliance & Regulatory Obligations
All firearms, receivers, and regulated components are sold and transferred in full compliance with all applicable laws. No transfer shall occur until all required forms and background checks are complete. Customers must present valid government‑issued photo identification.
Age & Eligibility for Purchase
Customers must be at least 18 years of age to purchase rifles or shotguns, and 21 years of age to purchase handguns. No person legally prohibited from firearm ownership may make a purchase. Staff must verify ID and eligibility before any sale.
Background Checks & Transfer Holds
All firearm sales require an approved NICS background check prior to transfer. Firearms will not be released during a delay status. Denied results will terminate the sale, and deposits may be forfeited as specified in the Deposits Policy.
Deposits, Cancellations & Restocking
Special orders require a non‑refundable deposit of [X%]. Cancellations made after five business days are subject to a restocking fee of [Y%]. Returns within 15 business days are accepted only if items are unused and in original packaging.
Deposits & Cancellations for Custom BuildsÂ
Custom Build orders require a non‑refundable deposit in full. Cancellations made after five business days before the firearm is picked up are subject to a restocking fee of 10%. Custom build firearms cannot be returned, all sales are final.
Returns, As‑Is and Used Firearms
All sales for ammo and firearms are final. Accessories may be returned if they are unused and still in their original packaging.
Shipping & FFL Transfers
All firearms purchased for sale must be shipped must be sent to a valid FFL or picked up in person. Out of State Residents may not pick up a handgun in the store, it must be mailed to their local FFL. The receiving FFL must be verified prior to shipment.
Firearms sent in for repair may be shipped directly back to the original sender.. Shipments require adult signature upon delivery.
All accessories, including Optics, must be shipped to the billing address of the card used to pay for the transaction.
Inventory Control & Security
All firearms must be secured when not attended by staff. Daily inventory reconciliations must be completed, and discrepancies immediately reported to ATF and law enforcement within 24 hours.
Employee Training & Compliance
All employees shall complete annual training covering firearms law, customer screening, safe handling, and transaction documentation. Records of training shall be retained for audit.
Customer Privacy & Record Retention
Customer data shall be retained only as required by law and secured to prevent unauthorized access. No data will be sold or shared except under lawful compulsion. See our full Privacy Policy here.
On‑Premises Carry Policy
Customers may carry firearms consistent with Arizona law. The store reserves the right to restrict carry in designated staff‑only areas for safety and security.
Denial of Sale & Suspicious Behavior
The store reserves the right to refuse service to anyone exhibiting suspicious, unsafe, or unlawful behavior, or who appears intoxicated or otherwise impaired.
Limitation of Liability & Warranty
Products are sold with manufacturer warranties only. The store disclaims all other warranties and assumes no liability for accidents or misuse after sale.
Repair Wait Times
Gunsmith will make every effort to repair the gun by the date estimated in the contract, but the date is just an estimate. Gunsmith is not responsible for delays caused by parts availability, shipping delays, natural disasters, or other Force Majeure scenarios. Any Delays will be communicated to the customer as soon as they become known. Â
Installation of Parts for Repair or Modification
Any internal parts or structural parts must be new, in the original packaging or purchased by the gunsmith directly. This does not apply to accessories (scopes, lights, bipods, etc.), however those items have limited warranty that only covers their mounting, not operation.
Policy Amendment & Review
Policies may be updated at any time. Notice of substantive changes will be posted in the store and on the website at least 30 days before taking effect.
